Christmas for Kids
Since 2015, Christmas 4 Kids has brought holiday joy to children in need across White County. We partner with local schools & churches to gather Christmas wish lists from families. Our club has generously sponsored multiple families with gifts of needs for each child plus a want that they would like.
Optimist Junior Golf
Optimist Junior Golf is one of Optimist International's premiere programs. Optimist Junior Golf involves more than 5,000 junior golfers ages 10-18 who play in 55+ District qualifying tournaments throughout North America. The best of these golfers advance to the summer Optimist International Junior Golf Championships where they join golfers from around the world for a week of competition, fellowship and fun. In total, more than 600 golfers and 700 guests attend the Optimist each year.
Top 11-18 year-old golfers are invited to attend the November Optimist International Tournament of Champions, an even more select tournament for top junior golfers.
The new year kicks off with the Optimist Junior Tour events for boys and girls ages 14-18. The tournaments are held in Orlando, Florida, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Fort Worth, Texas. After the tour events, District qualifiers begin for junior golfers ages 10-18. Top golfers from each of these tournaments advance to the International Championships held at PGA National Resort & Spa.
